SERIOUS MONDAY: TIDBITS SECTION

Twelve US states are suing the US Environmental Protection Agency over new regulations that would deny the public access to information regarding the toxic chemicals in their communities.

The Florida Department of Health has warned that consumption of largemouth bass from the ponds located on the former Kirby Mine site in rural Columbia County is a “public health hazard.”  The fish contain hazardous levels of mercury.
